MULTIPLE LEVEL MOLD STORAGE AND CURING RACKS

Placing molds in multi-level vertical storage during inactive phases of the manufacturing cycle such as holding and post cast curing allows manufacturers to take advantage of the total plant cube. Multi-level racks can be assembled in various lengths for pass through storage and transfer of molds between manufacturing processes or may be assembled as shorter, independent storage units to accommodate molds up to 12 ft. long. Available in double wide or single wide conveyor track configurations of various widths and lengths.

When used with traversing scissors lift transfer carts multi-level storage racks provide an efficient way to store and transfer large quantities of molds within a production system. Not only is valuable floor space preserved, risk of injuries from lifting heavy molds is reduced, as well as, damage to molds and poured products. Serviceable storage from 15” to 8’-6” above floor level.

 IN PLANT APPLICATIONS

Conveyor track section construction:	Jig welded frame and cross members, 11 gage formed steel, enamel painted “MarMax” green. Pre-lubricated galvanized steel conveyor wheels, 1,000 lb. capacity. Pre-punched mount holes for assembly to conveyor support stands.
Conveyor track sections sizes:	20 1/8” c.c. conveyor wheels on 6” centers. Standard lengths: 120”, 144”. Available lengths 60”, 72”, 84”, 96”, 108”, 132”. Conveyor sections join on conveyor support cross beams for any application length.
Conveyor support beam construction:	11 gage formed channels welded back to back for strength, enamel painted “Marmax” green. Pre-punched mount  holes for assembly. 1,000 lb. capacity. Special widths and configurations available upon request.
Unistrut upright support:	120” lg. galvanized steel unistrut uprights, welded foot pad with pre-punched anchor holes. Up to 5 fully adjustable storage deck levels.
Mold end stops:	Pivot style for multi-level “pass through” racks and fixed position end stops available for multi-level racks accessed from only one end.
