Gel Spray Carts

Technics offers a variety of carts to increase gel coat application efficiency by positioning molds for quick, easy spray coverage. Hinged top conveyor frame tilts forward for spraying vanity and panel molds. Rotating center plates raises tub molds up for spraying. All carts feature spray guard protection covers over hand controls, power components, and critical points of movement. “Air over hydraulic” power system uses in plant compressed air to pressurize a hydraulic reservoir. Unlike air pressure, hydraulic pressure does not compress so lifting and tilting actions of Technics Gel Spray Carts are smooth and controllable instead of bumpy and hard. All carts rated for use in hazardous areas.

Tilt-Rotate Gel Spray Cart

TILTING-ROTATING STYLE, TILTED

TILTING-ROTATING STYLE, ROTATING PLATE RAISED

Construction:
Mig welded steel base frame for strength and rigidity. Adjustable legs for leveling cart. Bronze bushings at pivot points and hydraulic cylinder mounts.
Galvanized steel spray guard located inside top conveyor frame protects all critical components from over-spray. Additional spray guards protect operating controls and carriage assemblies.
Welded push handle. Enamel painted “MarMax” green.
Carriage Assembly Machined steel 4” dia. V-guide wheels with zerk style grease fittings and replaceable needle bearings.
Service:
Fixed level service height, 29” adjustable 27 3/4” to 30 1/2”
Fixed level service height, 27” adjustable 25 3/4” to 28 1/2”
Tilt service, controllable position up to 30 degree forward tilt
Rotate service, up to 2” lift, 360 degree unrestricted rotation
Conveyor Frame: 20 1/8” c.c. conveyor wheels on 6” centers. Standard length: 144”.
Non-standard widths and lengths available.
Power System:
Hand operated, air activated hydraulic system, hydraulic pump with 80 cu. in. reservoir oil capacity, two stage release mechanism and hydraulic flow control valves reduces shock on system while allowing for fast or metered down flow. Hand operated directional control valve safely allows operation of only one function (tilt or rotate) at a time and allows positive holding of mold position for spraying.
Operates on 60 psi in plant compressed air supply.
No electrical connection necessary, hazardous area operation approved.
Hi/Low Elevating Gel Spray Cart with Tilt-Rotate Features

Hi/low gel spray carts incorporate the same tilt and rotate features of our standard gel spray carts plus the ability to raise or lower molds for a better spraying position and increased efficiency of gel coat application. Positive holding controls assure mold remains in position though out duration of gel coat application.

HI/LOW GEL SPRAY CART, TILTED

HI/LOW GEL SPRAY CART, LOWERED W/ ROTATING PLATE RAISED

Construction: Mig welded steel base frame for strength and rigidity. Dual scissors arms with adjustable tie rods. Bronze bushings at pivot/rotation points and  Hydraulic cylinder mounts. Galvanized spray guards protect hydraulic components, operating controls, and carriage assemblies. Hinged top
frame with overspray guards and welded push handle. Enamel painted “MarMax” green.
Carriage Assembly Independently adjustable carriages with overspray guards for leveling base frame. Machined 4” dia. V-guide wheels with zerk style grease fittings and replaceable needle bearings.
Service:
Vertical travel 18” to 31”
Tilt service, controllable position up to 30 degree forward tilt
Rotate plate service, 2” lift, 360 degree unrestricted rotation
Conveyor Frame: 20 1/8” c.c. conveyor wheels on 6” centers. Standard length: 144”.
Non-standard widths and lengths available.
Power System:
Two independent air over hydraulic up/down and tilt or rotate operating systems, each with 80 cu. in. reservoir oil capacity, two stage release mechanism and hydraulic flow control valves reduce shock on system while allowing for fast or metered down flow. Hand operated directional
control valve safely allows operation of only one function (tilt or rotate) at a time. Independent up/down control permits raising or lowering molds in any position.
No electrical connection necessary, hazardous area operation approved.
