Tri-filter Dust Collection Booths

Very high efficiency dust containment through three stage filtration system

Good for heavy dust applications in cultured marble and solid surface manufacturing plants. Cleaned air is recycled back into the factory for retention of air conditioned or heated air. Three progressive filter media materials remove finer particulates as air flows through each stage. Filters can be cleaned with dry compressed air for longer service life and better loading. Up to 99% efficiency on particles as small as 1 micron.

All bolted assembly, 18 gage pre-formed galvanized steel panels with 14 gage pre-formed galvanized structural stringer angles and roof support beams

Lighting: Two 4 tube fluorescent fixtures, dust tight, rated for Class 1, groups A,B,C, and D. Division 2, class II, Groups E,F, and G. Certified to CNA/CSA 22.2 No. 9 and No.137, 120 volt-60 hz-1 phase. Power options include 50 hz rated ballast and bulbs
Manometer: Differential air pressure indicator gauge indicates filter efficiency for cleaning or replacement.

Filter Media:
Initial dust filters: Airguard, 32 replaceable panel style filters, 20” x 20” x 2” graduated density with tackifier layer, integral semi-rigid wire re-enforced frame
Secondary dust filters: Airguard, 32 replaceable pocket style filters, 20” x 20” x 14” dual layer micro fine synthetic media. Filter design allows even air flow with minimum pressure drop for even loading and long filter life
Final filtration: Airguard, 8 – 24” x 24” box style HEPA filters, replaceable, bonded and sealed tri-layer micro-fine synthetic media. Galvanized metal enclosing frame and pleated filter design are not effected by changes in air velocity or fan shutdown ensuring a long filter life. Well suited for use in variable volume applications
Final Assembly:
Bolted on site field assembly. Typical installation time, 3-4 persons 14 hours. Components shipped crated, boxed and palletized with all hardware required for assembly.
Electrical connections should be performed by a qualified licensed contractor to meet applicable local codes.
Optional:
Custom sizes and configurations available upon request. Filter system may be available for adaptation to existing equipment.
Standard, pneumatic operated up/down door with control valve. May be located in one side wall or both side walls for pass through product finishing.

#M6 Cartridge Collection Module

The most advanced dust collection technology now available to the cast polymer industry. Improves in-plant air quality for a cleaner, safer work place and employee comfort. Cleaned air is recycled back into the factory for retention of air conditioned or heated air. Each M6 cartridge style collection module is a self contained unit housing 6 filter cartridges, back pulse filter cleaning valves, a 5 HP blower and removable dust accumulation drawers. With a filtering capacity of 4,400 cfm per module, adequate for 4-5 ft. of booth space any size grinding booth can be properly serviced by simply setting the needed number of filters side by side.

The 3 ft. deep modules fit within the same amount of floor space normally occupied by the plenum of an exhaust style grinding booth or bag house style booth. This is an excellent choice for an upgrade to existing equipment.

A master control panel contains motor starters with overload protection and a sequential timing board that operates the automatic pulse cleaning and downtime filter cleaning features. The panel is pre-wired for either 230 volt or 460 volt electrical service. Optional 50 hz electric options are available. 

Although relatively small and compact, three modules as assembled in our #M6-3 Cartridge Style Dust Collection booth feature almost 5,000 sq. ft. of filter surface area.

This is by far the most automated and low maintenance system for dust control.

EXTENDED BAG DUST COLLECTORS

 High efficiency, single stage dust collectors designed for cast polymer applications

For collecting dust and particulates generated by saws, grinders, and wide belt sanders used finishing cast polymer products. Extra long filter bags provide increased filter surface area and extend intervals between cleaning. Removable drum with plastic bag liners and caster dolley base provides for ease of collection and disposal. Designed primarily as a single collection point for an individual piece of equipment. Not suitable for use with metals or other reactive dusts.
Construction: Mig and spot welded steel construction, painted “Marmax” green. Powder coated blower housing and intake.
Motor/Blower: 3 hp T.E.F.C. , 230volt-60hz-3 phase.

Filter Bags:
2 – 22” dia., 120” long, high density woven polyester. Self flexing for easy cleaning.
