Vacuum Mixers

The original and still the best value for your solid surface manufacturing dollar!

Although minor changes and improvements have been made over the years, this is still the same original design that has helped numerous manufacturers enter the profitable solid surface industry. The design has been so successful, in fact, that these mixers are used by many of the raw material suppliers for testing and development purposes, as well as, demonstrations of their own products to customers. The unique mixing action is made possible by a specially designed mixing blade and mixing pot configuration that takes advantage of centrifugal force generated by the rotating pot. The mixing blade with nylon scrappers wipes matrix from the sides and bottom of the pot. Then, through a lifting and rolling action deposits the matrix so that it forcefully flows through the pot’s center. This action assures complete blending of all materials in the pot and allows even very small batches, often less than 10 lbs, to be processed. Not only are “dead” spots eliminated, but “wetting” out of materials is accomplished quickly and thoroughly.

S3 VACUUM PROCESSOR 500 LB. CAPACITY

Bridging the gap between batch mixers and automated pouring machines

Provides superior processing of solid surface due to its unique design features.

Mixing pots sit in a versatile dolly that simply rolls into position beneath the mixing head. This feature eliminates the need for specialized equipment to lift the mixing pots onto and off the mixer’s base. The portable dolly allows mixing pots to be preloaded with resin and filler at dedicated bulk storage stations before transport to the vacuum processor.

A 3” diameter stainless steel body drain valve positioned on the bottom of the mixing pot allows matrix to be discharged directly onto the mold surface with out having to rotate or tilt the mixing pot. Adjustable control enables quick filling of large sheet stock molds or limiting drainage for discharge into closed sink molds.
