steel molds are manufactured using buffing
quality 14 gage 304B grade formed, tig
welded stainless steel sheets. Rigid welded
14 gage galvanized steel tubing frame with
heat sink material is bonded to the mold pan
with a specially developed, propriety
temperature tolerant adhesive. Originally
developed for solid surface applications
steel molds are now used throughout the cast
polymer industry because of their product
release and finishing properties, as well
as, the longevity of the mold itself.
Since these
molds are fabricated with metal working
machinery no master mold is required.
Custom widths, lengths, depths, and special
sizes can easily be accommodated; all for a
price that is comparable with cost of a
regular fiberglass mold. May be
mounted on optional legs or used on conveyor
track systems.
