Gantry System with Top Running Bridge Crane

Pre-engineered crane packages or custom sizes for cast polymer applications

Gantries are designed for use in pouring areas, demolding and finishing areas, or anywhere an overhead lifting system can provide a safer, more productive solution to handling heavy materials. Standard self supporting spans 20 ft. to 80 ft. lg. Open beam trusses with top running trucks reduce chances of contamination from dust and debris falling into molds. Easy all bolted installation, as well as, disassembly make this a great choice for growing manufacturers who may want to re-locate the gantry system in the future. A range of hoist attachments are available for mixing pot handling, demolding, and vacuum lifting.

Construction: 3” x 3” structural steel support posts with ½” base plates with pre-punched anchor holes. 4” I-beam welded truss style crane rails and top running bridge rail. 10” channel end beams. Enamel painted “Marmax” green and safety yellow.
Capacity: 1,000 lb. capacity, 2:1 safety factor.
Crane Anatomy:
Self supporting design with open beam truss construction eliminates the need for external bracing and prevents binding while allowing smooth travel the entire length.
Top running bridge rail truss. Heavy duty end trucks with pre-lubricated and sealed 3” flanged guide wheels and 1Ό” torsion rollers.
Rolling hoist trucks with sealed and permanently lubricated 3” flanged guide. Wrap around side plates provide extra safety margin in case of axle failure.
Pivoting cable reel mount plate.

Construction: Hoist: 1,000 lb. capacity, 120 volt – 60 hz – 1 phase electromagnetic brake motor, stops and holds loads even under power failure. Furnished with hand held up/down pendant control switch and chain take up container.
Cable Reel: Automatic cable take up. 120 volt, 15 amp capacity with twist lock plugs.
Sizes: Standard footprint, 18 ft. x 20 ft.

BRIDGE CRANE HOIST ATTACHMENTS

Manually controlled rotating mixing pot bucket grabs:
clamps to pot and rotates pot for pouring directly onto mold surface
available in sizes to fit most standard mixing pot sizes
tig welded stainless steel control wheel, welded steel support frame, enamel painted “Marmax” green, oil impregnated bronze bushings at pivot points
locking tension clamps secures pot in pouring harness
Gear driven rotating mixing pot bucket grab:
worm gear driven rotating harness allows easy positioning of mixing pot over mold and holds at tilted angle for pouring
available in sizes to fit most standard mixing pot sizes
steel support frame enamel painted “Marmax” green, oil impregnated bronze bushings at all pivot points
locking tension clamp secures pot in pouring harness
Non-rotating mixing pot sling grab:
lifting studs penetrate holes drilled in angle ring to allowing mixing pot from to be lifted from mixer and moved to mold
available in sizes to fit most standard mixing pots

2 cup sink demolder:
uncomplicated and easy to use - air driven vacuum ejector pump attaches to in plant compressed air supply
built in pressure reservoir maintains vacuum even with air line disconnected
2 – 6” dia. adjustable, pivoting vacuum cups attach to sink bowl and detach in seconds, lifting capacity 140 lbs
27” hg (vacuum pressure) @ 50 to 80 psi, 1.6 cfm, 4:1 safe work load rating
welded and pressure tested, enamel painted “Marmax” green

2 cup tub demolder:
ideal for demolding and handling tubs, shower pans or any other heavy objects
